What is CCv?

CCv, also known as CC voucher, is a new token facilitating the ecosystem of CCSwap that can only be generated by staking CC token, and the holders of CCv will be entitled different rights and benefits when using CCSwap. The boosting function is the first step of the CCv ecosystem, while others such as DAO will be deployed soon.

What is Boosting?

Using CCv in specific pool to expand the output of staking LP / token. Staking CCv without LP/token will not generate any output of CC. Boosting function is one of the benefits of individuals that facilitating the reward of staking, which is an incentives to the contributors of the CCSwap ecosystem.

1. Lock CC for CCv

1.1 Go to CCSwap Staking page and you can see the following content. (Though this screenshot is from the test environment, the operation in production will be similar.)

1.2 Due to the new smart contract deployment, you will be required to approve the contract interaction two times.

1.3 Once all the approvals are finished, select the “Fixed Term” and you can see the “Lock” button. (By choosing “Flexible” staking, CCv will not be generated.)

1.4 Click the “Lock” button, enter the amount of CC and choose the locking period, the estimated ouput of CCv(CC voucher) will be calculated.

1.5 After clicking the “Lock” button in the pop-out window, the request will be sent to smart contract.

1.6 After the transaction is completely processed, your locked CC will be shown in the “Lock Records” and CCv is in your wallet now.

2. Using CCv to boost staking output

2.1 On the top left of each staking option, click “Boosting” to invoke the boosting panel.

2.2 In the panel there will be two options, respectively “Add CCv” and “Remove CCv”. If you want to “Add CCv”, enter the CCv amount that you want to use for boosting. The output of staking original token/LP will be shown at the bottom, and the figure in brackets will be the estimated boosting reward rate.

2.3 Once the transaction is done, the total APR of LP/token staking and CCv staking will be shown on the top left of the panel.

2.4 Hover over the “Boosting” button, you can see respectively: the APR of staking original token/LP and the estimated boosting reward rate from staking CCv.

3. Removing CCv from existing boosting.

3.1 Click the button on the top left of boosted pool (the total APR figure).

3.2 Enter the amount of CCv that you want to remove from the pool. The result of removing CCv will be calculated.

3.3 Click the “Remove” button in the pop-out window and the transaction will be submitted. After the transaction is completely processed, CCv will be returned to your wallet.
